What the tale is about
A handful of soil cannot become a flower, an egg cannot become a bird, and clouds do not make rain simply because people tell them to. Their words have no power over nature because they are not its owners. Using the example of an army obeying its commander, the story helps children look at the universe with wonder. When Allah says “Be,” a seed opens, a tiny sprout pushes through the earth into the light, and grows into a tree with branches and fruit. The story celebrates Allah’s limitless power, greatness, mercy, and the blessing of knowing Him.
