What the tale is about

At Bayındır Han’s grand feast, childless Dirse Han is sent to the black tent and returns home heartbroken. His wife suggests helping children, caring for the sick, and sharing food and drink with everyone while praying to Allah for a child. Their prayers are answered, and a baby boy is born. Before receiving a name, the child bravely faces a powerful bull charging through the camp and brings it down. Dede Korkut names him Boğaç. As he grows, Boğaç Han rescues his kidnapped father and leads the treacherous soldiers away from wrongdoing.
