What the tale is about

Vera returns to the forest she visits every summer and discovers that its colors, scents, and joyful songs have disappeared. With the help of Kikirik, a tiny but fearless dormouse, she explores the forest and learns that Bear Hortköz has forced the other animals to serve him, upsetting the forest’s balance.
