What the tale is about
In a little town where Ramadan never arrives, Hear Boy, Look Boy, and Quiet Boy follow their wise father’s request and search for a mysterious chest beneath a plane tree. An old auntie sends them to find three magical fish, who teach them to listen for beauty, speak kindly, notice what is good, and be patient with what is ugly. When the boys bring these habits home, goodness spreads and Ramadan begins visiting the town each year. In the second tale, Serra solves her grandparents’ playful clues and discovers that Ramadan is the special guest coming to their home.
