What the tale is about
When Serra brings milk and ayran to her grandmother and grandfather, she overhears them talking about a very special guest. They tell her that this guest brings peace and trust in Allah, is welcomed by everyone, and helps increase goodness. With three guesses, Serra carefully follows the clues about when the guest arrives and how long the visit lasts. As she realizes that the guest travels through every day and stays for thirty days, she discovers that it is Ramadan. The family’s joy in welcoming Ramadan celebrates patience, kindness, fasting, and preparing for sahur.
