What the tale is about
When Esin, Tekin, and Metin see a squirrel leaping between the branches of a walnut tree, they decide to build a swing that will carry them just as high. Esin’s older brother Tarık, Uncle Hasan, Mr. Cengiz, and Mrs. Fatma each help prepare an important part of it. Once the swing is ready, a blue envelope found in the tree reminds the children of something they have forgotten. They thank everyone who helped, share fruit, and pray for them. This gentle story teaches the importance of thanking people and showing gratitude to Allah.
