What the tale is about
On a farm where horses are raised and sold, a gentle mare gives birth to an adorable foal. As he grows, the foal becomes so grumpy that he kicks and bites the caretakers, and harsh treatment does not solve the problem. After one buyer returns him, an elderly man takes him home, speaks kindly, and shows him loving care. The foal gradually becomes calm and gentle, forming a close friendship with his new owner. Along the way, the story recalls the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) teaching that a kind word is charity and introduces the helpful Ansar of Medina.
