What the tale is about
Grandma Sümeyra transforms her inherited land into a tiny forest filled with trees, roses, and flowers. After a journey to the other side of the world, she returns with several delicate saplings and lovingly plants them in her garden. The mulberry and walnut trees worry about these newcomers, calling them strangers and complaining when they drink the rain. Wise Plane Tree explains that strangers become like brothers and sisters as they meet and grow close. At sunset, the saplings reveal they are Story-Giving Trees and share a bedtime tale. From then on, the garden welcomes every newcomer and falls asleep together.
